This Monfort Heights home suffered from vertical, diagonal and horizontal cracks in its foundation and porch resulting in a leaking basement and an inward leaning foundation wall. To alleviate theses concerns and stabilize the home, Hughes Construction Company installed 18 steel angles and two staples per the specifications of Buyers Protection Group. We also injected 43 lineal feet of foundation cracks with structural epoxy to stabilize the cracks and seal out water. Loose material on the rear stairwell retaining wall was chipped off and then patched with redline speedcrete. A crack on the left side of the front porch was patched and filled with speedcrete. Additionally, the downspout line on the left side of the home was extended to the existing street to allow for water to be carried away from the foundation.
