This Finneytown home had multiple vertical and diagonal cracks on the left side and rear foundation walls as well as diagonal cracking of the front foundation wall. The designing engineer of Buyers Protection Group recommended that Hughes Construction Company remove the front porch, stabilize the front foundation wall with two counterforts installation and stabilize the rear and left walls utilizing eleven helical piers. Once repairs were made we sealed the walls with HLM 5000 and capped them with dimple board to facilitate drainage. We also installed new schedule 40 drain pipes allowing for water to freely drain away from the home. To finish out the foundation repair we injected 50 lineal feet of foundation cracks with structural epoxy.
All concrete surfaces that were removed to allow for foundation corrections were reinstalled once corrections were finalized.
