Foundation Repairs Project in Finneytown Ohio
This homeowner reached out to us to implement foundation repairs that were specified by their engineer. Per the specifications provided by Buyers Protection Group, Hughes Construction completed the following work on this Finneytown home.
- Installed 15 steel pilasters
- Installed one 3″ adjustable steel column on top of a new 12″x 12″ footer that was 4″ above garage floor
- Excavated along foundation and sealed walls with HLM 5000 and capped with dimple board to facilitate drainage
- Installed two new schedule 40 drain lines day-lighted to the street
Once the drainage system was completed, soil was replaced and compacted. Compacting the soil in lifts will help to minimize settlement.
