As you are aware Ohio has extended the Stay at Home Order through May 1, 2020.  How does that impact construction companies and the services they provide? Many of the construction trades will continue to provide services as essential businesses.

Hughes Construction Company remains open at this time. We are operating as an essential business and will continue to remain open until informed to do otherwise. We will continue to monitor the situation appropriately and update the website as needed.

A few notes regarding our current operations:

While we have not seen a direct impact on our supply chain at this time, things are constantly changing. We will continue to keep our clients informed as to the status of their projects as things progress.

As implemented last week our home office will remain closed and our personnel will continue working remotely as needed to adhere to the social distancing guidelines. We again thank you for your patience during these adjustments.

We want to reassure our clients that we are taking necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of both our customers and employees.

  • Job-site staff and estimators are equipped with hand-sanitizer and adhering to social distancing guidelines.
  • Any employees that exhibit symptoms of illness will not be reporting to work.

We are all adjusting to the new norm.  We will get through this together!

In the meantime, if you are experiencing foundation issues, such as water infiltration, cracking, or bowing walls your first course of action is to contact a structural engineer. The engineer will assess your foundation concerns and recommend the most appropriate fix for your home.

As always, feel free to call or visit us online to inquire about your specific project needs.  While out on our website be sure to check out our “Videos” and “Projects“. Here you will find content to help pass the time and learn about steps you can take to avoid future foundation problems.
