Hughes Construction was hired by this Hyde Park homeowner to address some foundation concerns. All repairs were made to the specifications identified by the designing engineer of Buyers Protection Group. See below for a list of corrections used to stabilize this particular home.
- Installed one 3″ adjustable steel column under the main support beam near the front of the house. An additional adjustable steel column was install on a new concrete footer under the main support beam at the rear of the foundation.
- Injected one foundation crack at the rear foundation pocket with structural epoxy.
- Removed loose concrete from exterior beam pocket and repaired.
